EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: ARIANA REMILLARD

Ariana Remillard serves as a Customer Service Representative at SMC Global, where her focus is on delivering exceptional service to our customers.

She works closely with various departments, including Business Managers, Logistics, Warehouse, Finance, and Regulatory teams, to ensure that operations run smoothly and customer satisfaction remains at the forefront. Ariana places a strong emphasis on building solid relationships with her coworkers, understanding that teamwork is key to providing top-notch service. She firmly believes that every role at SMC plays a part in creating a positive customer experience, and she is committed to making that happen every day.

One of Ariana’s favorite aspects of her job is the opportunity to learn something new every day and to collaborate with colleagues to accomplish tasks. She finds immense satisfaction in building relationships with internal team members and external customers, which enriches her work experience. When asked to describe SMC in three words, Ariana describes the organization as flexible, challenging, and rewarding.

Outside of her professional life, Ariana enjoys spending quality time with her husband Bill and her 9-year-old Macie, indulging in reading whenever she finds the time, and going on vacations to create lasting memories. She cherishes the moments spent with loved ones, as her family is what keeps her grounded and motivated.

Although she has a variety of interests, one hobby Ariana wishes she had time to pursue is learning how to play a musical instrument. Coming from a musically inclined family, she sometimes feels that this talent has skipped over her, making it a goal she hopes to achieve someday.

Ariana also shared her go-to smartphone apps, saying that if she had to keep only three, they would be her Kindle for reading, Amazon for shopping, and Maps, as she humorously admits to being terrible with directions. Lastly, on her bucket list is the desire to travel overseas; she dreams of visiting countries like Italy, Greece, England, Ireland, and Germany to immerse herself in their rich cultures!
