Shane Brewer

Meet Shane Brewer, a dedicated member of our Kershaw warehouse team, who has been with SMC Global for 12 years. As a Forklift/Warehouse Operator, Shane plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by loading and unloading trucks and preparing orders for shipment.

Over the years, he has seen significant improvements in organization and efficiency, especially with the addition of the Pageland, SC location, which has provided more space to streamline operations. One of his most impactful projects was transforming a white room and rental space for a key customer, a challenge that showcased his ability to adapt and contribute to major company initiatives.

For Shane, the best part of his job is interacting with people. He describes SMC Global as a company built on close camaraderie and efficiency, where “everybody knows everyone, and everyone gets along.” Looking ahead, his goal is to help expand the business to ensure job security for all.

Outside of work, Shane enjoys golfing and spending time outdoors. A self-described mix of outgoing and shy, he’s known for bringing energy to a room—except when he’s quietly binge-watching Pawn Stars. Surprisingly, ketchup is a must-have in his life, and if he had to keep only three apps on his phone, he’d stick with Weather, Messages, and Facebook.

Shane once worked in a poker house, wanted to be a professional baseball player, and dreams of visiting Las Vegas. If he had one superpower, he would choose to fly, and if time allowed, he would love to learn to play guitar. Most importantly, he is a proud father to his two daughters, Brook and Abby.
