Special Materials Company (SMC), a global specialty chemical producer and supplier, is pleased to announce the opening of its new chemical manufacturing and warehousing facilities in San Angelo, Texas to better serve its new and current customers in the Permian Basin.
The facilities will produce and distribute a variety of SMC’s oilfield product line, including: friction reducers, scale inhibitors, clay stabilizers, phosphorous acid and derivatives, iron control agents and the company’s line of EPA registered biocides. In addition, SMC will provide toll blending capabilities, primarily biocides, for Oil & Gas customers.
